Growers First is holding their 9th annual leadership conference to be held in Oaxaca, Mexico on November 11-13. Growers First has been working with coffee growers in Mexico for over ten years and held their first conference in 2000. Among the 4,000 to 5,000 in expected attendance this year will be village leaders, lay pastors and pastors from various parts of Latin America that serve in helping others in their local communities.
The 3-day conference reinforces and augments the training that is at the heart of the Growers First programs that are implemented in the rural mountain regions of Mexico and other parts of the world. In addition to providing medical and dental care at the conference for attendees, many breakout training seminars are provided on a variety of topics and a number of speakers provide insightful and encouraging messages for adults, youth and children.
You can sponsor a village leader or pastor for $30 per person. This covers all conference meetings, seminars and materials. Also, all who are registered and provided with meals while at the conference.
